Because every move is unique, costs vary and are generally based on an hourly rate. Hourly rates are determined by the scope of service. After a free one hour consultation where individual needs are discussed, a range of approximate costs is provided.

What does downsizing entail?

Downsizing, going from a home with larger square footage to a home with a reduced square footage, includes a careful assessment of your new home and measurement of your new floor plan. With client interaction, existing furniture is evaluated and the most appropriate pieces are selected for the move. In addition, personal belongings such as clothing, linens, artwork, and home goods are generally minimized. This can be a very difficult and emotional task, as sentimental value accompanies every item in a home. We help you carefully select your most important belongings based on your change of use, allowable space and new lifestyle.

What happens to the things I can't take with me?

Items that cannot make a move are cataloged and reviewed with our clients and marked for family distribution, sales, donation, or trash. Family items are delivered or shipped in state or out of state, items for sale go through our estate and moving sales process, donation items are scheduled for pick-up and items rendered unusable are thrown away.
